Gillingham railway station, Kent

Opened in 1858 by the East Kent Railway as New Brompton, this soon became part of the London, Chatham and Dover Railway. The name was changed to Gillingham in 1912. View west towards Chatham. Before the 1932 rebuild, the original station building was on the right in the middle-distance.
