View northward, towards Altrincham and Manchester: ex-Cheshire Lines (CLC) Manchester - Altrincham - Northwich - Chester secondary main line. Since 5/5/69 when Manchester Central closed, the service has run via Oxford Road to Piccadilly and on 6/10/69 their Chester Northgate terminus was closed and the trains then ran to Chester General.
