This red-brick shed with purple brick patterning and semi-circular tile inset over the entrance was formerly an electricity works and later the Manweb depot, now disused; it probably dates from around 1900. A second similar but lower shed is attached (behind). Immediately north is Valley Brook which lies alongside the railway (see Image); the building is visible from Edleston Road (A5078) railway bridge. See also Image A visit in March 2012 revealed the building very dilapidated and overgrown; the plot is up for sale as 'possible development' and this interesting building might soon be lost.
