When the General Post Office agreed to provide a new post office in a town it generally arranged for a new building to be erected - on occasion, it converted an existing building. Flint House, Easton Street, High Wycombe, is one such case in point. Although it has not been used as a post office for 80 years or so, examination of the exterior clearly reveals its former use.
