Signs of the times? The most prosperous looking building around is the casino. Next to it the Post Office delivery centre has queues of people collecting undelivered parcels - probably all those internet purchases before Christmas, the sales that are killing the trade of shops all around the developed world. The next building is the funeral parlour, and then the dearest filling stations in western Sheffield, but on this day it was competitive. The site above that has been empty for many years, but a new development may be about to begin?
