Drinking fountain (not in use) for horses; the Carmarthen Park officer thought this fountain was originally set up in Knott Square, Carmarthen, and gave me the email address of a lady that was well informed about the history of the area, to check. Alan Underwood has given me some information about Timothy Davies, whom the drinking fountain commemorates:http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/CARMARTHENSHIRE-FHS/2006-06/1150223220 This fountain was originally in Lammas Street when it had a cattle drinking trough with it, or near it, the current whereabouts of which is not known.
