An interesting row of houses. I suspect that the porches are a later addition to early 19C cottages, as a row of houses is shown here on the 1850 map and the masonry of the porches does not look as if it is keyed in to the house walls. Most of the porches have an arched window over the doorway, but the central two have a trefoil.
