This archetypal village never fails to delight me as I drive through it. The church is Grade I listed with English Heritage Building ID: 291192 and dates from the 13th C. However it was completely renovated, except for the chancel, in 1869 by Henry Woodyer. The Church forms a focal point in the group of buildings around the village green.
