Popular pub and restaurant, somewhat isolated along narrow lanes. Unusually, not sited on any road but on the edge of the car park which it shares with the parish church. The arboretum established by the late Sir Bernard Lovell (of nearby Jodrell Bank fame) is close to the pub.
