A sand arena and a steaming muck heap, behind which stretch what looks like the rolling plains of the Ponderosa Ranch in the old TV series. This is horse country, with ever more stables and paddocks, all very tidy, on this piece of ground, with its convenient access to the disused railway track behind the camera. Waithe Beck, aka Tetney Drain, forms the southern (right) boundary, and the line of poplars, dramatically lit up against the stormy sky by the autumn afternoon sunlight, are on the Tetney Golf Course.
