This door is in the side of The Albany building in George Street. The keystone is dated 1856 and originally the building was offices and a warehouse used by cotton traders. The building is Grade II listed: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-359185-the-albany- and now has been converted into modern apartments: http://www.albanyliverpool.co.uk/index.php
