Buccleuch Street is in Glasgow, north-west of the city centre. The word tenement conjures in many minds an image of deprivation, and certainly Glasgow had many tenement buildings where that would have been the case, but these tenement homes in Buccleuch Street are very fine. One of them - No. 145 - is a property of the National Trust for Scotland and has been preserved in almost its original state. http://www.nts.org.uk/learn/virtual_tenement.php
