View eastward, towards Wellington, Wolverhampton and Birmingham: ex-GWR & LNWR Joint (Birmingham - Shrewsbury - Chester GW main) and LNW Stafford - Wellington - Shrewsbury) lines. The station was closed 7/9/64, when the passenger service ceased between Wellington and Stafford (goods a year or so later). This is clearly still a main line through here.
