Metrolink tram 1022, still sporting its red poppy livery and with a poppy wreath in the driver's cab, stands at the Market Street tram stop outside Debenhams. Tram 1022 was painted with the poppy motif to support the Annual British Legion Poppy Appeal. The press release stated that it would operate in this livery from Wednesday 31 October until Sunday 11 November as part of the Armistice Day commemorations, but it is seen here on 15th November. It is the fifth consecutive year that Metrolink has decorated a tram in this way.
