View northward, towards the buffer-stops of the terminus of the narrow-gauge line from Machynlleth via Corris. This ex-Cambrian line up the Afon Dulas, which followed the A487 up to Corris, has been partially restored there. The original line had been closed by BR(WR) on 21/8/48, the passenger service having ceased from 1/1/31.
