Opened in 1849 by the Great Northern Railway on its line from Lincoln to Gainsborough, this line later became part of the joint line with the Great Eastern Railway. The station building is now Grade II Listed. View north west towards Gainsborough from a public crossing, which was replaced 2 years after this image was taken by a step-free footbridge. See Image for a 2022 view from a similar viewpoint.
