Opened in 1882 by the Great Northern and Great Eastern Railways on their joint line from Sleaford to Lincoln, the station closed in 1964. Building on the site was under-way when this image was taken, view north from Station Road bridge (which is in Heighington). The slight hump by the track on the right is probably the degraded remains of the platform.
