Situated on the B4540 Common Road, this TE dates from the late 1960s and would have replaced a smaller building in the same locality from the GPO era. Besides Kensworth, this TE also serves Studham and Whipsnade nearby. A microwave dish on a pole can be seen to the left of the photo and is directed towards the BT radio station a few miles distant near Zouches Farm, TL0421 refers. The numbering range of this TE is (01582) 872xxx, the (01582) referring to the Luton group of TEs, and its postcode is LU6 2PJ
