An unusual name on this derelict pub on Shoreditch High Street. It is linked to the weaving industry established in nearby Spitalfields by Huguenot immigrants. The pub has been empty for some years. Given the rapidity with which pubs get flogged off as houses in other parts of the country and given inner city housing needs, you'd think with a bit of imagination this could have been done up into something more useful by now.
