A flooded Ovenden Road

Image: © Marathon Taken: 30 Oct 2012

After a night of heavy rain following days of showers the country roads were very wet and muddy. This long stretch of Ovenden Road was actually flooded to a depth of three inches so it was possible to drive through with care. The scarp slope of the North Downs can be seen beyond.
