Opened in 1846 by the Preston & Wyre Joint Railway on its line from Preston & Kirkham to Lytham, later extended to Blackpool Central. The station closed in 1961, but was reopened by British Rail in 1983, the terminus now being Blackpool South. View south towards Lytham. The second platform can just be seen through the undergrowth.
