The superb 1920's red brick and gold faience on the exterior of The Rutland Arms seem to ensure that it does not go unnoticed by those individuals who have left the city centre via Furnival Street (off the picture on the left) and who are making their way towards the railway station via Brown Street, i.e. straight ahead. The pub supports a substantial number of community activities, including two x once-weekly folk clubs, and it sounds as though it still has lots of breath yet.
