The docks in the east end of Greenock were still busy in 1974. Opposite, Helensburgh is on the right with the Luss Mountains behind and Ben Lomond (3,192 ft.) on the horizon; on the left is Kilcreggan with Beinn Ruadh (2,178 ft.) behind, in Cowal above the east shore of Loch Eck.
