The section of Nursery Street nearest to The Wicker with the former Coroner's Court on the left hand side of the road. This was replaced by the state-of-the-art Medico-Legal Centre in Watery Street during the professional life time of Dr Alan Usher, a Home Office Pathologist who worked hard to see the establishment of a new centre that was an amalgamation of the city Coroner's Court and a Forensic Post Mortem Suite (late 70s or early 80s ?). The premises now house "The Old Coroner's Court Business Centre".
