1960s housing on the western edge of Callendar Park. The one on the left is Maxwell Tower; the four on the right are Symon, Paterson, Marshall and Leishman Towers. The original intention was to be low-rise - the fact that much of the area was riddled with mines was overlooked, so space for building was restricted - going up was the only way to achieve the density required.
