Gliddons, an ironmongers that now specialises in cookware and toys, has been here since the premises were built in 1887. A site formerly occupied by cottages, it was auctioned on 4th August 1886 and bought on behalf of Gliddons for £425 http://www.eastdevonaonb.org.uk/index.php?page=poh-transcripts-1886 .
