Built in the 17th century and extended in the 19th century. Grade II listed - for listing particulars see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1218840. The house was the birthplace of Henry Hill Hickman, posthumously recognised as one of the pioneers of anaesthesia.
