The commemorative plaque on the side of the Sykeside Hotel for Mr Alan Rawsthorne, who was born at Deardengate House, Haslingdon. Mr Rawsthorne was a classical composer, but did compose film scores, e.g. The Cruel Sea, and guitar pieces, which were completed by Mr Julian Bream.
