The A126 St Chad's Road leads up from Tilbury to the roundabout. Marshfoot Road leads left (past the Gateway Academy - a newly built secondary school) to Grays. Chadwell By-pass leads around Chadwell St Mary towards the A1013 near Grays. Chadwell Hill leads right up the hill towards the village of Chadwell St Mary.
