The 340 Km Southern Upland Way which runs from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath is one of 18 official National Trails in Britain and was the first to be established which runs from "Coast to Coast". Here it follows a well-marked track across Sanquhar Moor. Conrig Hill Image in the Lowther Hills lies straight ahead.
