A large, Elizabeth II-reign (pre-1994) postbox, probably a replacement for a box which stood at the post office before closure. It is painted gold in honour of Olympic equestrian Peter Charles's 2012 gold medal. A box in Alton (see Image) had initially been painted to mark Peter's medal, before it was pointed out that he was actually from Bentworth. The village noticeboard stands close by.
