The YMCA was established in Llandovery in 1990. It has occupied this building, Gerwyn House, 19 Market Square, since 1999. The aim of the YMCA is to provide a safe social meeting place for young people, enabling them to take up or pursue their particular interests, strengthen their talents and abilities and help them explore spirituality.
