Odd as it may seem, these few slabs adjacent to Lund Church Hall constitute a public highway and the planters are thus obstructing it. A similar situation exists on the west side of the hall where the highway is obstructed by a porch. Thankfully commonsense is being brought to this issue and a proposal has been made by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to extinguish the right of way on the grounds that it is unnecessary.
