Wood pasture - I'm not sure whether that's the exact term for this kind of habitat, but it has a good deal in common with wood pasture as seen (for instance) in Richmond Park or the New Forest. On the other hand, there are few ancient trees here, which suggests that this isn't classic wood pasture of medieval origin.
