Gold-painted post box and village notice board in Bentworth. The post box commemorates the gold medal success in 2012 of team showjumping Olympian Peter Charles, although it seems the Royal Mail mistakenly first painted a post box in Alton: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-19176984 . Oddly, this post box is new in this location, and looks unnecessarily large for a rather small village. Here it is before it was given an auric makeover: Image In the background is the Star inn.
