Part of a large number of Brent Geese feeding on a winter sown crop near Vidle Van farm. There didn't seem to be any attempts to keep them off the crop - I guess either the farmer is being compensated (Brent geese are a relatively highly protected species) or is prepared to lose some early growth (the digestion system of a goose isn't very efficient so most of what goes in one end comes out the other end as fertiliser!)
