Tower Farm

Tower Farm was built in 1840 by Joshua Knowles as stables for work horses. There were also dwellings for farm workers in the surrounding buildings. The main building was modelled on a tower built by Knowles' former employers at their 14th century home, Nuttall Hall Farm (now demolished). Today the farm buildings have all been converted into residential use.
