This section of the lane leading from the A41 to Marsh Gibbon heads dead straight due North for about a mile.In the distance on the right can be glimpsed the tops of some of the buildings that comprise Yew Elm Farm - which just sneaks into the adjacent (to the east) gridsquare. This lane running as it does North/South stays 100 metres from the eastern boundary of the gridsquare for its entire kilometre depth.
