This area is really Oxcliffe, the Snatchems name originates from the days when press gangs were used to make up navy crews. The pub faces the Lune estuary, and is cut off around spring tides. Hence the mud in the foreground. The pub-restaurant is worth a visit. Cars can be safely parked at the back, away from the water.
