A fly-in is held annually on the old Boxted military airfield, in aid of The Boxted Airfield Histotical Group. Aircraft parking was on the stubble field adjacent to the grass runway. If you take your logbook, you can get a Boxted stamp in it: the historic airfield is only open one day per year, for the fly-in, which is held between the harvest and the ploughing of the parking field, so it is a unique opportunity - and a bit of fun!
