This is a rarity these days - a new (real) pub opening! It was serving ten real ales today (the Bradley's Finest Golden Bitter, 4·2%, £2.70, was excellent - and the correct temperature). The back of the building opening to Exchange Street is 16th century; the courtyard has now been fenced in so that tables and benches can be provided in a shady open-air drinking area. Bring your own food, or have a cheese and onion cob for 50p! Recommended :-) The building is Grade II listed. Image] Image]
