Viewed from the edge of platform 1. Much of the Heart of Wales line is single track, with short sections of double track, to allow trains to pass each other, as here. The large red dot and Stop signs remind train drivers that the token to Llandrindod Wells, and permission to proceed, is needed before leaving the station.
