If you turn off the A13 you can find it down Chapel Lane in the little recreation park opposite the Methodist Church. It is a 1914-18 memorial and the inscription from the Bible reads 'The men were very good unto us and we were not hurt. They were a wall unto us both by night and day'. All the writing on the memorial has been hand carved.
