Fields with grass of varying ages give subtle hues to this agricultural landscape. A silage crop has been taken from this field within the last few days, and tractor ruts testify to the sodden ground of this wet Summer. Whithorn and The Scares are visible across the mouth of Luce Bay from this high position at 130m OD.
