The gales of the 19th have provided unexpected photo opportunities in this area. The hoardings surrounding the site of the demolished Police HQ were supported on 100mmx100mm posts, which were snapped off at ground level. On the other side of the site the large building to the left of the photo is the modern Magistrates Court with a small bungalow in front. The tall red building on the right is the Grosvenor Museum, with the Gothic TSB Bank Building, now a restaurant, next to it. See also Image
