This former pub was originally called The Black Horse but was renamed by the local brewery, Elgoods of Wisbech in the 1980's when they closed The Black Hart in Rings End a few miles away. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2943741 Allegedly there is no other pub in the country called The Black Hart so to keep the name alive it was moved to this pub. It relied primarily on passing trade for its business as there are only a small number of inhabitants in this hamlet but according to local sources one man had drunk in the pub regularly since the outbreak of World War 2. So now there is no pub in the country called The Black Hart? Yours for £160,000
