The earliest parts of the parish church of St Michael are the nave and chancel dating from the C13. The tower and North chapel are late C13, whilst the South chapel is of c.1300; the remainder is C15 Perpendicular. The church underwent slight alteration in 1825, and was restored in 1868 when the vestry was added.
