Class 47527 is stopped within the cavernous approach to Liverpool Lime Street and the driver is walking forwards, presumably to a track-side telephone. The locomotive eventually entered the station to relieve another locomotive of its train. The photograph was taken through a 300mm lens and 2x converter, which was a little inferior, but the best I could afford.
