Viewed from Chester Road South. Kidderminster Viaduct, also known as the Hoobrook Railway Viaduct, was built in 1884-1885 to carry the Kidderminster to Worcester main line railway over what is now the A449 (Chester Road South), on the south side of Kidderminster. The 20-arch viaduct is about 340 metres (c1,110 ft) long and has a maximum height of 23 metres (75 ft). This viaduct replaced a wooden structure of 24 timber spans on stone columns.
