Louth has recently been voted the country's favourite market town by Countryfile views. This is a regular market (as opposed to a "Farmer's Market") on a sunny September afternoon, with a good selection of stalls. It has survived better than most local markets, many of which are now poorly supported, especially in winter. Stu has been selling watches and batteries, and fitting straps, on Louth market for many years!
